This was a very special project as the land on the sitting site of the house was originally sloping away.
You might have heard that having a sloping back garden is unfavourable in Feng Shui. The reason is simple: if your backyard slopes down away from your house, the Qi flows away, washing away with it everything including prosperity, luck and wealth. The slope lets anything good that is supposed to come to you go literally downhill instead of staying around.
To stabilize the house the entire garden was fenced by planting an evergreen hedge at the border. The grounds were elevated using 25 tonnes of freshly delivered top soil. But not only was the ground elevated ensuring the energy would flow back towards the house - using Imperial Feng Shui techniques a structure of 5 softly sculptured hills was created to resemble a flying geese formation in an area called "Dragon Platform". Both are extremely auspicious and known for enhancing social status.
The homeowners reported to me shortly after finishing the project their pending and stagnant projects had started to gain traction again. They were able so successfully close a year long dragging court case, enjoying a sudden and unexpected money gain and the lady of the house was offered a very attractive new job opportunity.
Today, their garden is a sanctuary for animals and humans alike.
